An Interesting Dialogue.!

Jay and Tabby sat around a sipping tea and talked about random topics like about everyday routines, shopping, homework schedule, and etc. Meanwhile Jay asked a question to which Tabby replied dumbly. Annoyed by her answer, Jay said, ‘Tabby you’re an idiot. You don’t have a common sense.’ Tabby replied, ‘I don’t have a common sense. I have a special sense.!’ Jay burst in a laughter. 😀😀😀😀

“I wish the time stops here and the weather lasts out the years I’ve got left to live,” murmured Jay, stretching herself out on a warm sand and digging her toes in. She then looked left, then right, and then all over the place. Jay noticed that no one was seeing her or listening to her. It seemed as if people were oblivious to their surrounding yet enjoying in their respective lives. Meanwhile, some questions popped up into her mind that why am I so concerned about people? Why am I always looking for someone to empathise me, to look at me, to talk to me? She felt as if she was questioning herself and to her surprise, getting the replies. People don’t believe in ‘my pain is your pain’ concept. It doesn’t mean that people are not good or affable but they are smart enough to understand that when and where is the right time to show their affability and affinity. On the contrary, I’m the opposite. It also doesn’t mean that I’m not good but I’m not smart enough to understand the slightest difference between being caring and vulnerable. There are times when you need to make evident that you’re kind but there are also the times when you must show that you’re not weak. Live your life in a moderate way: not too kind, not too rigid. This is the only way to live life happily and peacefully. Otherwise, either you’re always getting hurt or becoming unbothered by everything which is also not good.

Meanwhile, Jay felt as if something has hit her. After few seconds she realised it was a plastic ball when a little boy came and said in his stuttering voice, “can I take this ball” to which she smilingly replied, “yeah sure, you can.” After that, she felt as if she was enjoying life. She understood the mistake she was making. “Sometimes it’s good to talk to yourself. It’s therapeutic,” said Jay while leaving the beach, holding the shoes in her hands, and smiling.

It was the best time of her life. She smiled, cried, yet enjoyed the serenity, the purity, and the freedom she got by just talking to herself.
