What household chore do you absolutely enjoy doing? (can be indoor or outdoor)

Well, in the recent past, I have developed an interest in washing dishes by hand. I love washing them with warm water. It relaxes me and induces a relaxed mood. However, I don’t like to stand above a sink for a very long time. 😁😞

Create a sentence with the words “neon green” and train”.

Sitting on a train, grieving over the sorrowful hours she has been gone through, Jay wept.!  Nothing could turn her mind but the fresh floral scent of neon green flowers did their work.!!!

Other than your cell phone what can you always be found with?

I always have my tablet with me. I take pictures from its camera, watch interviews of my favourite celebrities, play games, and do blogging. 😀

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?

Since the question doesn’t restrict me to one particular item, I would take pizzas, burgers, pasta, cream rolls, biscuits, juices, chocolates, milk ( as I’m a tea-drinker, it will be surely be taken😁), and anything I craved at that very moment or otherwise I would go on for days.!! 😄 lolss..I’m a big foodie! 😁😂

List at least five movies or books that cheer you up.

  • The Forty Rules Of Love by Elif Shafak
  • Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
  • Heidi the movie
  • Abridged versions of  Shakespeare’s plays
  • Fast and Furious
  • Five Have Plenty Of Fun by Enid Blyton (The Famous Five Series)

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?

If I were a mouse, I would probably see my sisters prepping for their exams or playing and my parents watching tv or having their evening tea. But they would surely kill me before seeing this all.😀😀😁

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

The week was pretty awesome. I met alot of people through wordpress. It was so much fun to connect with them as I always wanted to reach out to people living in different places. In a nutshell, everything was good. Allhumdulillah (all the praises and thanks be to Allah)

List things or events that changed your life?

  • The decision of doing Olevels and Alevels.
  • The promise I made to myself that I will work hard until my signature becomes an autograph.

Explanation: (it will be a bit long. *sorry* )

In Pakistan, after clearing the middle standard exam, students have two options to opt for, i,e. Matric and O-levels. Matriculation is local SSC (Secondary School Certificate) level certificate issued by boards of intermediate and secondary education of Pakistan whereas Olevels is conducted by CIE UK ( Cambridge International Examinations). So stepping into getting this education, i,e Olevels was life-changing for me. At first, I was a bit tentative and at the same time scared of doing it because it’s more of a conceptual based study, paper pattern is also different, and initially I was not fully confident as how I’m gonna perform in it. But I accepted the challenge, worked hard and got good grades. It gave me a confidence and taught me that no matter what, you must not stop working hard because at the end of the day, you will get a reward.

Secondly, I decided to do Alevels. It taught me everything: how to stay strong in tough times, how to face people after failures, how to stand up after a failure and still work even more harder to get the position you want. I also learned that Almighty always rewards you with success when you’ve put in your hard work and determination.

Then, I made a promise to myself that I will work hard until I become successful and financially independent. This is my drive and it has changed my life so far.

Complete this sentence: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s…

A colourful kite flying high in the sky on a kite day.

What genre of music do you like?

I listen to every genre of music may it be a pop, hip hop, R&B, Smooth, sad and sometimes slow. Basically it depends on mood.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

There’s one quote I read which says, “Never tell your problems to everyone. 80% don’t care and the other 20% are glad you have them.” I loved these words.

What was or is your favorite cartoon?

My favourite cartoon was Oswald. The story revolves around a large, round, blue octopus who lives in an apartment complex with Henry the Penguin and a lot of other animals. Oswald was a very gentle, smart, friendly, polite and big-hearted octopus, and always willing to go out of his way to help his friends. There were other characters as well like his dog, weenie, daisy, madame butterfly, catrina and many other. I remember watching it everyday with my sisters and it was the best time of the day for me. Mr bean was also one of my favourites. The message he delivered just by actions was awesome and commendable.

Which cooking utensil (other than the usual pots and pans etc) would you miss the most?

I’m not very much into cooking and stuff. So I’m not sure of what would that utensil be. Btw, there was a time I got fascinated by spatulas. 😀

Would you dare to sleep in haunted house overnight?

Oh my God! That would be my biggest nightmare. I will never prank myself with that scary adventure. 😀

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I realized the fact that if you want something to be done, do it. Don’t ask people if it’s right or wrong. If you want it, wish about it, then everything is right. If that was wrong in your opinion, you would’ve never desired about it to be done. So be brave and chase your dreams.

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?

Well, something happening like this seems impossible for now. But still, if I have to suppose it, it’ll be a alot of fun. I mean, imagining something like that feels so good so getting it will be a lot more fun.😀 As $50,000 is Rs3,247,250.00, so I’ll buy myself a sports car; I adore them, love them. If there was any money left, I’ll get rid of the lizards, and put down lizard proof paint all over my house and will say goodbye to this slithery pest.

What sound or sounds do you love?

Well, this is an interesting question. I love the sounds of birds chirping in the morning. It’ll be my ideal morning to be up early in the morning, do my prayer, sit in the terrace with a cup of hot tea and a lovely breakfast, and with sun shining on my face. 😀  I also love the relaxing sounds of waves, sound of wind blowing through leaves, sound of car driving, race car sounds, sound of car engine running and the sound of a car screeching to a halt. 😀

What’s your middle name?  Why?

Surprisingly, I don’t have any middle name. Btw, I love the long names which flows well and sounds fancy. Lols😁

What are you reading right now?

I’m reading this novel. It’s an autobiography of Anne Frank. It’s very interesting (as far as I’ve read), and very informative. It tells the problems people face during hiding. Btw, I got this book on a discounted prize, which is so so good.😀 Actually, there held a book fair (or you can call it a book stall) in our school to inculate reading among students. It was an amazing opportunity for the students to buy the books on low prices. So I took the chance and bought my favourite books. Here you can see the book I bought. 👇😊

What was your first adult job?

Okay, so first, I never had a job before or any work experience except for the babysitting or volunteering for my school events, like being in a discipline squad sort of a thing and second, I officially became an adult last year. So I don’t remember any adult job until now.

What’s your favorite breakfast cereal?

I remember, as a kid I was fond of cornflakes and coco pops. Now I’m not that big fan of cereals.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS:

How do you like your eggs?

I am not an egg person. I don’t like eggs as much but my mother makes sure to feed me with eggs because she believes they’re good for health; so in that case I prefer hard boiled eggs or sometimes omelette.IMG_6009-300x300

Have you ever met anyone famous?

Yes, I’ve met many famous personalities like politicians, actors, actresses, and cricketers.

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?

I’ve never earned money as such which can be called ‘my own money’ so I don’t bought anything of my own. My parents do that for me.😀 Ask me this question after 3 to 4 years, I’ll answer it better at that time.😁

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

I realized the importance of flowers. I always loved flowers but only the color and the fragrance but I never thought of them as the beautiful blessing of Almighty. It’s such a lovely creation of Him. I must thank Cee for starting this flower prompt. It made me realize the importance of flowers and their uses. They’re so useful and add beauty to the nature.

What would be your ideal fantasy way to spend Monday?

To be honest, I don’t like Mondays, although it’s a start of a new week and brings for you blessings but still you always dream for Fridays because then comes a Saturday and it’s a WEEKEND. So if I would have a chance to spend fantasy Monday, I would just sit back, relax, enjoy life, ignore the problems of the day and would do anything I like, may it be watching a movie or sitting in the sun, pondering and that’s it.unnamed (4).gif

What one person that you are out of contact with would you like to say thank you to?

It’s an interesting question. I never thought of it before. There’s no one coming into my mind right now. But for the sake of answering the question I will love to say a big thank you to everyone and anyone who has had done something for me or prayed for me or for my family, thank you so much.!

List your favorite toys or games as a kid?

I was never a person who played with dolls and stuff. I always preferred to play with balls and I was into playing board games. Crayons, markers, and colours always fascinated me as a kid. Toy phones were also my favourite.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

I loved the quote which says: ‘Never make permanent decisions on temporary feelings.’

Do you ever sit on a park bench for more than ten minutes?

Yes I have, not that often but I have as far as I can remember. These few minutes of silence helps me shift my mind towards positive thoughts and renergizes me. I think it’s a good way of changing your mind set and it helps you become creative because parks and this greenery and nature recharge you with whole new positivity and your ideas originate and out of nothing flows out everything. So I believe that we should take 10 or 15 minutes break from our hectic lives and allow ourselves a few minutes of silence. Because when you take time to sit in silence, you heal your heart and soul and you recharge your life battery. So there’s nothing better to sit back and relax on a park bench. I love to do this.😊😀

When you lose electricity in a storm, do you light the candles, turn on the flashlight or use your cell phone for light?

I have all of them. Actually I live in Pakistan, where electricity goes off frequently so we have a supply of candles and rechargeable batteries in our homes for emergency because there are no particular timings for it. But I think the most convenient thing to use is cell phones; I usually turn on the cell phones for light or even to find the batteries😁 because they’re never in the right place when I need them.😂

Would you rather be given $10,000 for your own use or $100,000 to give anonymously to strangers?

I’ll be honest here. If I’ll be given $10,000, I’ll be happy and will buy a car or will use them for shopping etc. But I’m not in an urgent need of this so it’ll be better to have $100,000 and I’ll give away to someone who actually need them. I’ll give it to ONE needy person so that he can live his life to its fullest.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?

There’s one quote which says, “Don’t you dare give up on this life. Not tonight. Not tomorrow. Not ever.”

I read this quote this past week and I get inspired by this. I learned that you should never give up. Because sometimes it’s not okay to worry about things. We should have faith and things will work out for us, maybe not how we planned but the way they’re meant to be.
