Hey everyone. VAS HAPPENING. Hope you all doing good. Welcome to my little space and thank you so much for stopping by my blog.🌼😍

A day before yesterday I received a notification that I’ve gained +100 followers on wordpres. For a second I became quiet and no immediate reaction came out of me as if I was zoned-out. And then suddenly I smiled and I laughed when I realized that gaining 100 total followers is not a small deal when you’re just an amateur writer amongst so many talented ones. I was overwhelmed with happiness and joy. I’ve no words to explain my feelings. It was all natural because this notification with a red-orange badge-sort-of-thing is all I wanted from the start. But I was never sure of getting this so early. All thanks to my followers who liked my posts, commented, and gave me encouragement to write more and “blog” more because as a beginner all you need is a moral support to get yourself to a point where you wish to be. So I’m grateful to all my followers especially the ones who followed my blog in my beginning because then I had no “about” page, no widgets, no categories, nothing. Even I was not aware of the header images, customization, themes, color, and content, I mean I was new to all these things when one day Erika Kind asked me to make an “about” page.

Then Miriam Hurdle guided me as how to add widgets and footers etc etc. Do check out her link here.

After customization and adding the themes, I organised my site. But still I was bit tentative to change my theme and try something new. It was all white when one fellow blogger adviced me to add colors to my blog and make it look a bit different. So accordingly, I set a new theme and make it more presentable. Do check out her link here.

I also want to thank Khansa Khan because she was my first ever follower and guided me that the best way to increase your followers is to increase your following and I did the same. So please give a read to her posts here.

Gradually I started considering you ‘All’ my friends, my besties, and my blogging family.😊💖 I became so attached to you all that I started discussing your posts and anything you share with my mother by taking your names as if I’ve met you face to face and have known you for years.😁 Is is strange? 😀😀😀 No it’s joyable.!    My mother knows you all as I used to tell her everything from the likes to the comments to the followships. So by now, she has become a “half-blogger” or it’s better to say that she is my “partner in blogging” 😁😀💖🌷🌹

I hope you enjoyed my post without getting bored.😀😁 If you do, let me know in the comments below. And please let me know if there’s anything I work on. I always appreciate constructive feedback. Thank you in advance.💞

Blessings.🌸

Xoxoxo.💖

Share Your World – 27 April, 2018

Here’s my entry for Cee’s Share Your World – 23 April, 2018

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?

Since the question doesn’t restrict me to one particular item, I would take pizzas, burgers, pasta, cream rolls, biscuits, juices, chocolates, milk ( as I’m a tea-drinker, it will be surely be taken😁), and anything I craved at that very moment or otherwise I would go on for days.!! 😄 lolss..I’m a big foodie! 😁😂

List at least five movies or books that cheer you up.

  • The Forty Rules Of Love by Elif Shafak
  • Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
  • Heidi the movie
  • Abridged versions of  Shakespeare’s plays
  • Fast and Furious
  • Five Have Plenty Of Fun by Enid Blyton (The Famous Five Series)

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?

If I were a mouse, I would probably see my sisters prepping for their exams or playing and my parents watching tv or having their evening tea. But they would surely kill me before seeing this all.😀😀😁

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

The week was pretty awesome. I met alot of people through wordpress. It was so much fun to connect with them as I always wanted to reach out to people living in different places. In a nutshell, everything was good. Allhumdulillah (all the praises and thanks be to Allah)

We Are The World by Michael Jackson

In response to Bee’s Monday Music Blog party

Michael Jackson’s charitable work and humanitarian awards continued with the release of “We Are the World” (1985), co-written with Lionel Richie. The song was recorded on January 28, 1985 and released worldwide in March 1985 to aid the poor in the United States and Africa. The song earned $63 million for famine relief, and became one of the best-selling singles of all time, with 20 million copies sold. It won four Grammys for 1985, including Song of the Year for Jackson and Richie as its writers. So here it is.

Two People Departed.!

You and I, holding hands walking down the street, talking, gossiping, sharing secrets, making memories, living the moment.
You and I, making promises to never be apart, to never let down each other, to never cheat on one another.
You and I, taking oaths of lasting this marriage till death, to care about each other till the end.
You and I, reminiscing over the past, pondering over our future.
Suddenly I heard a voice, ‘wake up, wake up. It’s 8 in the morning. You’re already too late for the physiatrist. You’ve an appointment today.’
The words pinched me so hard and suddenly I realised that it was just a dream. The reality is I’m here, all alone. He left me alone to fight with my mental health. Is that a marriage? Where are those promises? Where?

After Recovery:

Where I am is where I supposed to be.
I’m meant to be here, it’s my destiny, it’s my life.
It puts me in a trouble, it tests me for a while but I passed the test.
I’m here, in a good health.
I’m here, satisfied with what I’ve done all these years.
I’m here, without any guilt.
I’m here, contented over the decisions I’ve made in the past.
I’m here, thankful to Almighty for making you the part of my life; otherwise I would have not been the person I’m today.
I’m here, better than before, stronger than ever.

Who I was earlier?

A person who was overly trusting.
A person who was not able to distinguish between “real people.”
A person who respected everyone knowingly that they don’t deserve it.
A person who deliberately gave people “second chances” when it was not required.
A person with a fragile mind and a vulnerable soul.

Who was he earlier?

A hypocrite, a coward, a lier.
Who does not respect women.
Who was arrogant of being “a man.”
Who was selfish.
Who was a fraud.
Who was proud of his masculinity.

How’s he now?

Not fully aware of his condition of where is he living but all I know is that, “he’s not happy.”
